Dr. Bernard Nsah is the founder of Taadom Digital, where he leads the design and delivery of digital health infrastructure for African healthcare systems – from neighbourhood pharmacy and clinic tools through to ministry-scale data platforms.
His work sits at the intersection of clinical practice, software engineering, and public-health policy. Before founding Taadom Digital, he trained as a physician and worked across health programmes in Cameroon and the broader region, where the gap between clinical need and the digital infrastructure to support it became the defining problem he is now committed to solving.
He writes here about the technical and policy choices that determine whether digital health in Africa actually reaches the people it is meant to serve – and the gaps still left to close.
